Handthrown on the potters wheel from translucent porcelain, with cobalt oxide mixed into the clay. This technique creates unique patterns flowing through the whole piece. Glazed inside, silky smooth polished porcelain on the outside.
There is a small surface crack inside the knob, visible on the third photo.
Could be a nice set with the Teacup #52, as the shapes are complementary.
